The last months of 2025 will be filled not only with work, but also with shared relaxation. This year, our company will once again ensure that we can experience memorable moments together, both inside and outside the factory. Two outstanding programs – the trip to Eger and the opportunity to go ice skating in Dunaújváros – once again provided a great opportunity for the Hankook community to enrich themselves with new experiences.

This year’s second trip took us to Eger, and the oversubscription already hinted at a special day ahead – more than 300 colleagues applied for the 95 places.
The program was packed, but that’s what made this trip so meaningful and unforgettable.
To the delight of those with a sweet tooth, we started the day at the Stühmer chocolate factory, then walked through Bishop’s Park to admire the Basilica of Eger. From there, the route took us through Dobó Square to the medieval-style Excalibur restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious food and truly memorable service.
The afternoon was free, so we were able to explore Eger Castle, and at the end of the day, we took part in a wine tasting organized by the Ostoros Winery in Szépasszony Valley.
The good mood continued during the two-hour bus ride, where laughter, lambada, and “yes, yes” were the main attractions! After Eger, only one question remained unanswered: where will we go next?
The ice rink is ours again!
Winter couldn’t have started any better: Hankook has taken over the ice rink again this year so that our employees and their guests can enjoy skating for free. The change this time is that we reserved the Angels1 rink at the Radar sports complex.
The first two skating weekends were on November 29 and December 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by two more sessions on December 13 and 14, around the time this newsletter was published. So, check out the photos in our online galleries!
Professional instructors helped beginners learn the basics, while the more adventurous couldtry their hand at puck control and shooting – the equipment was, of course, provided by the organizers. Thanks to the unique features of the new venue, it wasalso possible to train on a “dry” rink, so everyone couldtry shooting at the goal in roller skates or trainers. In this case, however, everyone had to have their own roller skates or trainers.
On December 7, a special guest arrived on the ice: Santa Claus had a surprise for the children and brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
To enter, participants only needed to show their ID card on site after registering in advance. Skates wereavailable free of charge to colleagues and their guests upon request.
We are confident that by the end of the event series, everyone couldsee once again that the Hankook team is on the same track on the ice!
