Completion of Phase 4. and that of the Hankook House expansion are fast approaching. In fact, by the time you read this, the TBR trial run is already in full swing, and our most active colleagues have already had a chance to try out the hotel’s renovated gym.
Every year, one of the highlights of spring is the parent company’s anniversary, as well as the presentation of Excellence and Long Service Awards. This year, our parent company is celebrating its 85th anniversary, and the Hungarian plant its 20th. What a milestone!
It is a tradition for the company to recognize the commitment and dedication of its employees on this anniversary. I am pleased to say that this year, 159 of our colleagues are celebrating 15 years of service, 94 are celebrating 10 years, and 123 are celebrating 5 years with the company; moreover, more than 1,000 of our colleagues have been working here for over 10 years. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank them all for their work!
I would also like to congratulate the 33 colleagues who received Excellence Awards for their outstanding performance. Your contribution to Hankook’s development is of paramount importance; an innovative mindset and a spirit of initiative are the keys to both individual and corporate success.
Finally, allow me to wish you a restful and rejuvenating break during the upcoming summer shutdown. I hope that this period will provide an opportunity for relaxation and for spending quality time with your loved ones. And to the maintenance staff who will be working during this time, thank you for your hard work!
