A Summer Full of Shared Experiences

Summer camps filled with fun for our employees’ children, exciting darts matches for colleagues, a family day, countless activities and plenty of carefree moments – there was certainly no shortage of things to do over the past few months. Although autumn has arrived, our community events are far from over: more exciting adventures are just around the corner.

Summer Camp Fun for Even the Youngest

Between June 29 and August 14, we organized summer camps for employees’ children over a total of six weeks. In addition to the usual 6–14 age group, this year we opened the camps to children aged 3–6 for the first time.

This summer will also be remembered for the extreme weather. During the heatwave, temperatures exceeded 40°C in some areas, putting both organizers and participants to the test. Despite the exceptional heat, all activities went ahead as planned, and there was certainly no shortage of memorable experiences! We received plenty of positive feedback from the children, providing valuable input for organizing future camps.

A Bullseye at the Hankook Dormitory

The summer also had plenty to offer to our adult colleagues. On August 4, the Hankook Dormitory hosted a highly anticipated darts tournament. During the nearly seven-hour competition, there was no shortage of 180-point scores and checkouts of more than 100 points.

In the end, Balázs Kozma took the top spot, followed by Zoltán Bogó in second place, Gábor Tolnai in third and Norbert Baranyai in fourth. Congratulations to all of them!

Summer May Be Over, but the Fun Continues

On September 5, we came together for the Hankook Family and Sports Day, enjoying another action-packed day filled with shared experiences. You can read a dedicated, more detailed report on the event in this issue of our magazine (pages 8–9).

Fortunately, we will not have to wait long for our next community adventure! According to the current plans, we will head to Lake Balaton on October 10 and 17, with 114 colleagues taking part on each occasion. The full-day program will include hiking and sightseeing, as well as wine tasting.

We hope autumn will bring just as many wonderful shared moments as this summer did.
