Summer experiences for our children – for the third time
At Hankook, we believe it is important that employees’ children also have the opportunity to enjoy a meaningful and unforgettable vacation. In 2025, we organized our third summer camp for Hankook children, which attracted more interest than ever before.
After hosting 120 children last year, this year we welcomed almost 200 campers – 191 children to be exact. Due to oversubscription in previous years, we ran eight sessions this time, making maximum use of the service providers’ capacities. The first session began on June 23, and the last day was August 22, so we were able to provide meaningful programs for the children throughout the summer. The camp days lasted from 7:25 a.m. to 5:20 p.m., which was easy for parents to coordinate with their work schedules.
During the organization, we paid special attention to ensuring that the weekly programs were colourful and varied enough for both newcomers and returning children, so this year we expanded the offer with two new venues and three new program options. During the summer, our camps were hosted by the DESE Leisure Park and Ambrózia Park in Dunaújváros, and the Jankovich Mansion and Rácalmás Event Center and Sports Hall in Rácalmás, and based on the feedback, the young participants had a great time everywhere.
A variety of exciting activities awaited the children at all four locations: sports, crafts, outdoor games, team competitions, and, of course, lots of laughter. The new programs quickly won the hearts of the campers, and based on the feedback, everyone found their favorite activity.
It is a particular pleasure that, year after year, the camp provides real help to more and more families and lasting memories for the children. Based on the feedback, the summer camp not only provides relaxation, but also a safe and loving community experience. We are proud that we can contribute to community building among the youngest members of society in this way.
