Dixit - A game of limitless imagination

If you want to play a creative and exciting game at the same time, you won’t be disappointed with Dixit! In this association game, there’s always a storyteller who chooses a card from the deck and tells you something about it that comes to mind. It could be a single word, a well-known proverb or a complete story. The other players choose from their own cards the card that best fits the storyteller’s saying and slide it to him. The storyteller, after shuffling the cards, lays them face up and the other players have to guess which was the original card that gave rise to the storyteller’s story. Dixit is an unconventional board game that opens the door to the world of imagination and to deepening new acquaintanceships.
Who am I?

All you need for this game is some paper and a pen. Everyone writes a well-known name on their sticker, whether it’s a film character, a fairytale hero or even a musician, the main ide is for them to be famous. Players sit in a circle and each person hands the name to the person to their right, who sticks it on their forehead without seeing the name on the paper. The idea of the game is that each person in turn asks a question that can be answered with ’yes’ or ’no’, about “themselves”, i.e. the character on their forehead. The winner is the one who guesses the name on their forehead the quickest. Make your guess only if you are absolutely sure! This game can be really funny, and once you’ve had your welcome drink, it’s all the more fun.
Extra tip: If you want to get your phone involved, download the Guessy mobile app, which provides a digital environment for the same game.
Two truths, one lie
An excellent warm-up game for a party of 6-15 people, no equipment or preparation required. The game involves participants sitting in a circle and someone making three statements about themselves, two of which are true and one of which is false. The other players vote to find out which of the three statements is untrue, and if they agree, the player who made the three statements tells the correct answer. It is then the turn of the next player to test the others with another three statements.
Secret word
If you’re in a group of friends looking for a fun game to play all night long, try Secret Word! The game starts with each person writing their name on a piece of paper and then a rarely used, even ridiculous, word on another piece of paper, e.g. toilet pump. After shuffling the slips, everyone draws a name and a secret word. The task is to get into a conversation with the person you have drawn during the evening and incorporate the secret word into the conversation so that they don’t find out that you are doing it just for the sake of the game.
It’s here on the tip of my tongue

Quick. Spit it out! You also have had times when you didn’t know the answer to the simplest question, but it was right there on your tongue, right? This situation is made comical by the board game “It’ Here on my Tongue”, in which the cards have trivial questions on them, but you only have two seconds to answer them correctly. The game also includes a ticking tongue that beeps loudly when you’re out of time. It’s a fun, fast-paced game that can lift the spirits of any party.
Activity Extreme

This board game is the same as the traditional Activity, but with an extra twist to make the competition even more fun. Here, it’s not enough to draw, point and describe, but these tasks have to be performed while doing an extra task (e.g. jumping on one leg). An exciting, fun and challenging game. Give it a try!
