Almost 200 tyres to help ambulance and the security services
Our company has announced again this year its successful tiredonation program. This time, we supported also larger local organizations such as the Fejér County Office of the National Ambulance Service and security forces in the Dunaújváros district. Some 200 tires were donated to various vehicles with sirens in November.

Thanks to our donation program, in addition to supporting 130 smaller organizations, we provided winter tiresto the vehicles of the Székesfehérvár and Dunaújváros ambulance stations, and we also helped the emergency services of the Dunaújváros with our professional tyres. This is our company’s way of acknowledging and thanking the work of organizations that help and support road safety.
For Hankook, it is important to contribute to improving road safety, especially in winter when the risk of accidents is higher due to slippery roads. In our charitable activities, we always try to give priority to the organizations working in the areas around our factory: we are pleased to have had the opportunity to do so again.
Csaba Orosz, President of the Pentele Volunteer Firefighters Association, thanked Hankook for the donation and stressed that “it is essential for our vehicles to be fitted with the right tires, as they affect the stability, braking distance and steering of the vehicles. With the tiresdonated by Hankook, we will be able to carry out our rescue tasks more safely and come to the rescue of people in trouble faster.”
We are also happy to report that the Hankook Employee Volunteer Program (KÖSZ HANKOOK) has helped to renew the interior and exterior of several schools and kindergartens in the region, much to the delight of the children. In recent years, we have contributed more than HUF 130 million to the success of these voluntary projects.
Thanks to our broad social responsibility activities, organizations can count on us in the future.
