Sports Support for Future Talents
Hankook this year again announced its “Hankook for Sports” program, which aims to support communities promoting amateur, recreational and youth sports.
In 2026, a total of 11 organizations received grants worth nearly 6 million forints. This year’s recipients included martial arts club, dance group, badminton club and student sports organizations, which were able to obtain sports equipment through the program that provided real assistance in their day-to-day operations.
Working Together to Improve the Region’s Communities
In the 2026 KÖSZ Hankook! Employee Volunteer Program, 46 projects received funding totaling approximately to 30 million forints. The goal remains the same: to make the public spaces and environments of the communities within the factory’s area of influence more beautiful and livable.
What makes KÖSZ Hankook! special is that you, too, play an active role in these projects: sacrificing your free time to work together for kindergartens, schools, community spaces, or playgrounds. This is what makes every completed project truly valuable and a shared endeavor.

15 years of serving the nonprofit sector
For 15 years now, Hankook Tire Donation Program has been promoting road safety by donating high-quality sets of tires. This May, the program opened its doors to Hungarian nonprofit organizations for the 15th time.
The initiative has now become one of the most significant forms of direct support in Hungary’s civil society, and it is good to know that the tires we manufacture play an important role not only on the roads but also in serving community causes.
Heart and Soul for Local Healthcare
This year, Hankook also supported the first large-scale screening day at Pantaleon Hospital in Dunaújváros. During the event on May 30, nearly twenty types of screening tests awaited participants inside the hospital building, while interactive demonstrations, first aid training, and simulation exercises took place on Szalki Island. The event was held in conjunction with the charity run and the Parázs Varázs Family Day, making it a true community event.
Hankook has long supported the work of the local hospital, and it is a particular pleasure to have been able to support an initiative that drew attention to health maintenance and prevention – an issue that is important to us all.
