Hankook Family and Sportday

Record Attendance at the 5th Hankook Family and Sports Day

The first weekend of autumn was once again all about shared experiences, fun and relaxation as we celebrated Hankook Family and Sports Day on September 5. Although the weather was less than kind to us this year, the atmosphere remained upbeat – and more people than ever came together to enjoy the day.

Több százan vettek részt szeptember elején a fergetegesen sikerült III. Hankook Családi- és Sportnapon, melyen – az elmaradhatatlan kedvencekkel – habpartival, sportprogramokkal, gasztrokalanddal és még tucatnyi izgalommal találkozhattak a résztvevők.

A total of 1,632 people attended this year’s event, including 1,041 colleagues and 591 family members. Among our guests were 293 adults and 298 children, making this the best-attended Family and Sports Day in the event’s history.

The weather certainly put us to the test. Strong winds and rain meant that some activities, as well as the outdoor cooking arrangements, had to be adapted. However, the gloomy conditions did nothing to dampen everyone’s enthusiasm. Thank you all for coming  and helping create such a lively and cheerful atmosphere throughout the event!

Plenty of Fun, Games and Active Challenges

The activities designed especially for children were once again a big hit. Alongside an enhanced treasure hunt and a drawing competition, the water-based games also attracted plenty of participants. Those looking for a more athletic challenge had the opportunity to test their skills in a range of team activities, with the tug-of-war competition proving to be one of the most popular.

It is particularly rewarding to hear from the feedback that both families and children had a great time. The record attendance also shows that Family and Sports Day has become one of the most popular community events at Hankook.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us despite the challenging weather and helped make this year’s event such a memorable occasion!
We will also take your feedback and the lessons learned into account when planning the next event, so that next year we can welcome you with an even more varied and comfortable program that is better prepared to cope with whatever the weather may bring.

We look forward to seeing just as many of you – if not more – in 2027!
