More Comfortable Spaces, Modern Environment and Continuous Support
A renovated restaurant, upgraded washrooms and further improvements – visible changes have taken place across several areas of the plant in recent months. While some of the new spaces are already ready to use, work is still underway in others. But the goal is the same everywhere: to create a more modern, comfortable and well-maintained environment for our everyday working lives.
Taking Comfort to the Next Level
Renovation work is already well underway across 12 washroom facilities at the company. This comprehensive program, running until June 2027, aims to provide our colleagues with modern, comfortable and attractive facilities, including restrooms, showers and associated welfare areas.
When planning the overall schedule, one of the key considerations was to avoid closing facilities located too close to one another and to ensure that sufficient and accessible washroom capacity remains available near every affected area.
The latest phase of the project started on September 7, when the following three facilities were closed simultaneously:
- PH1 Curing – women’s and men’s washrooms
- PH1 Bead – women’s and men’s washrooms
- Boiler Building – washroom facilities
The current renovation phase is expected to continue until November 30. During this period, colleagues working in the affected areas can use the following facilities:
- PH1 Curing → PH1 Building
- PH1 Bead → PH1 Cutting and Mixing PH1 ground-floor washrooms
- Boiler Building → PH1 Building
The design elements and style of the washrooms already completed will also be carried through to the next phases, ensuring a consistent and clean look across all renovated areas.

A New Era for Shared Mealtimes
The renovation of Restaurant II has now been completed and the facility has officially reopened. Based on the feedback, the result has already been very well received by many of our colleagues.
The fully renovated space brings a fresh and welcoming atmosphere to everyday life and significantly improves the working environment for our colleagues. A special thank you goes to the TBR team for their high-quality and precise work!
We kindly ask everyone to take good care of the furniture and equipment. This is essential if we want to preserve the restaurant’s new, well-maintained condition in the long term. By looking after the space together, we can help keep it looking great for years to come and ensure that everyone continues to enjoy spending time there.
Meanwhile, renovation work at Restaurant I and the cafeteria is also progressing at full speed. Here, too, we are working to create a modern and comfortable environment where colleagues can take a break, recharge and spend time together.
Whether the renovations concern our restaurants or washroom facilities, throughout the entire process we are committed to minimizing the inconvenience caused by temporary closures as much as possible.
