A very busy and hot summer has come to an end. I sincerely hope that during the shutdown you all managed to relax and recharge for the rest of the year. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all those who have worked during the shutdown. Thank you for your efforts!
I’m happy to see that the toilets and bathrooms are constantly being renovated under the management of General Affairs. Please take care of the already renewed facilities, helping this enthusiastic team!
After KÖSZ, Hankook! volunteer program, we have launched another charity project, the Tire Donation Program, which has also been very well received by civil organizations. In these past weeks, some of the organizations have already received their tires. The exact results, as in case ofKÖSZ, Hankook!, will be reported in the last magazine of the year.
We cannot also ignore the fact that this year, our company has contributed to the school-start of disadvantaged children through Útkeresés Association for the eighth time. Of course, we have also not forgotten our employees, school-starting allowance has been granted to them as well. I do hope that this will help to reduce the burden on our employees with families.
Our company has participated in Dunaújváros in the celebrations of the foundation of the Hungarian state, which was very successful in all respects. I am proud to say the same about our Family Open Day that was held after a gap of several years, and where the lecture hall was packed to capacity. Based on the big interest from the employees, we are planning to organize another one this year.
The summer was closed in a memorable way with the Hankook Family and Sports Day, which was again well attended this year. I would like to thank the HR team, who organized the event, for their hard work and I hope that, along with the participants, they had a good time, too.
The end of the year is coming, but there are still many tasks ahead for all of us. I wish you all strength and perseverance to meet these challenges.
