The year 2024 has brought many challenges and surprises to all of us.
Every promotion is a great honor, especially to lead a plant. But it is also a huge responsibility to lead a factory of such a high standard. Hankook is one of the world’s leading tire companies and every single employee in the factory, including me, has to grow up to do this job.
That is why I consider it a priority to develop the Rácalmás plant into the company’s leading production site. One of the pillars of this is to make the TBR investment a success. As you will have noticed, the fourth phase and the expansion of the hostel have started, and in 2025 the related work will be shifted into higher gear.
I myself have been working for Hankook for almost three decades. During this time, I have worked in countless positions and countries to help the company. I have also worked here in Hungary, at the factory in Rácalmás. And just like then, I can say that I am very proud of our achievements together.
But we cannot sit back, we must continue to work on solving the problems in the warehousing of finished goods. The Task Force that was set up earlier is working tirelessly to put an end to the current situation. This is linked to the quality and the pursuit of quality work. I ask you all to pay more attention to your work and your environment.
Once again, I would like to thank all employees for their commitment, perseverance and the sometimes demanding work you do for the company.
Finally, allow me to wish you a pleasant holiday season ahead. I trust that all my colleagues will spend the holidays in peace and happiness, surrounded by family and loved ones.
