2024 is now behind us, a challenging and eventful year all in all. 2025 has hardly begun, but it has brought a lot of new things.
From this year on, our company is the exclusive tire supplier to the WRC, the FIA World Rally Championship. This is a big deal for us, as in addition to Formula E, we can now produce tires for another world-renowned and recognized motorsport series.
This year also marks a milestone for the expansion of the factory and the Hankook House, with both construction projects now in full swing. With the new production line coming on stream in 2027, truck and bus tire production will also start.
Perhaps never before has sustainability, sustainable management and environmental protection received as much attention as it does today. This segment has always been and will continue to be a major focus for our company. To this end, we are launching a new column in the pages of this magazine, which will present Hankook’s ESG strategy in its entirety and bring it closer to you. “ESG” is an acronym, and it stands for Environment, Social and Governance. Please pay attention when reading about it in the magazine, especially as there will be education on the subject on the newly launched Hankook e-learning platform.
In addition to our awareness-raising programs, you can read about many interesting and exciting initiatives on the pages of this magazine, which will provide plenty of opportunities for leisure activities throughout the year.
