Unforgettable moments at Hankook Family and Sports Day
Hundreds of happy colleagues took part in the fantastic Hankook Family and Sports Day on 9 September, which – true to our company’s standards – was organized with a foam party, cultural and sports activities, culinary delights and dozens of other exciting programs.
At our company’s Family and Sport Day organized in the Hankook House, the youngest guests could enjoy jumping castles, face painting, hair braiding and air hockey, as well as a competition and a treasure hunt. The most skilful were rewarded with cotton candy and chimney cakes.
Adults were also invited to take part in a variety of activities. Not only were there battles on the football pitch and under the pitchboards, but also pub sports fans could choose whether they wanted to be a table football, beer pong or darts champion. Some of our colleagues displayed their skills in table tennis, also known as ping-pong. All the while, the outdoor kettles were simmering with more and more delicious dishes, thanks to the enthusiastic Hankook chefs.
The most popular event of the afternoon was undoubtedly the fabulous foam party provided by the Dunaföldvár Volunteer Fire Brigade – many thanks to them. And the representatives of the nationalities working at Hankook put on unique performances, showing us the beauty of different cultures.
The local ice hockey team, Acélbikák, also came to show their respect, and while they were at it, they gave away free tickets to their season-opening ice hockey game on 1 October.
In a word, it was a very busy day in September for the organizers, who revealed that, in view of the huge success, they would like to make it a tradition and make it an annual event. So, all those who would like to repeat the event or missed it this year, you can certainly make up for it next year or experience the Hankook atmosphere again. As you can see from the pictures, it would be a shame to miss it!
