Don’t miss the latest Hankook news!

It’s been an exciting time for us: our premium tires have demonstrated their worth in international tests, and we’ve also supported a prestigious sporting event and a road safety competition. Haven’t heard about them yet? Here are the most important recent news!

The king of winter tires

One of the most prestigious German car magazines, Auto Motor und Sport, has thoroughly tested our winter tires and the Winter icept evo 3 X has been rated “very good”. The experts praised in particular the aquaplaning resistance and performance on snowy roads. But that’s not all – in the Auto Bild test, the Winter icept RS3 also won the “Eco Master” title, while our four-season tire Kinergy 4S 2 came first in the Auto Bild all-wheel comparison. The balanced performance of the tires in all weather conditions was particularly remarkable during the tests. In the case of the Winter i*cept evo 3 X, the experts highlighted the tire’s “dynamic and easy to control” properties, as well as its “balanced, almost sporty dynamics” on dry roads.

We roll the Golden Ball

We have been honoured to be the official sponsors of the world’s most prestigious individual football award, the Ballon d’Or. The 68th Award Gala took place on 28 October at the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. This year’s special feature was the addition of two new categories: the Men’s Football Coach of the Year and the Women’s Football Coach of the Year. As part of the collaboration, the Hankook logo was featured prominently along the red carpet and in the press area. This partnership is another important step in the positioning of our premium brand in Europe, and of course a continuation of our successful long-standing partnership with UEFA.

A steady hand on five axes

On 21 September, the “5 axes – with a steady hand! Champions League” competition took place, where Hungary’s best truck drivers competed against each other. Hankook was the official sponsor and exclusive tire supplier of the event again this year. In the 12th edition of the road safety and driving skills competition, Gábor Szabados was the best and won the grand prize of HUF 1 million. Congratulations to him!
