We spent a great weekend together
We celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Pumpkin Festival in Rácalmás in mid-September, where we danced the night away to concerts by no less a group than Péter Geszti and the Bagossy Brothers Company. And the most impressive decoration of the festival deserved a Hankook tire.
Our company has a long-standing commitment to supporting local values, which is why we decided to sponsor the Rácalmás Pumpkin Festival again this year, and employees, along with their guests, were provided free tickets. The event, which has now become a nationally renowned event, has been made bigger than ever to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event.
A great family event with excellent bands and art ensembles offered guests a high quality program, where they could admire the works of authentic folk artists and traditional workshops, as well as interesting exhibitions and taste delicious Hungarian and international gastronomy. At the Hankook tent, for example, we offered Korean specialties and, to our great delight, we were able to introduce many people to the Asian flavors.
For us, it was especially valuable that the festival was a community effort to create cheerful pumpkin arrangements to decorate the streets of the town, with the most fun winning a set of Hankook tires.
Pumpkin lovers opened the festival to the fantastic Bagossy Brothers Company, followed by ByeAlex and Slepp, and the weekend was rounded off with Péter Geszti’s “Time is Rap” concert.
Unfortunately, the weather was not in favour of the festival, but many people still came, and the Hankook was sold out to the last bite. It was a pleasure to have fun with you. Lots more of these GREAT and unforgettable weekends!
