The “Útkereső” Association held its end-of-summer event, the Festival of Games, again this year; and, for the seventh year running, we have been a regular sponsor of the event. The aim of the family day on 23 August was once again to have fun, enjoy the experience and help children in need go to school.
Every year, the Festival of Games is preceded by a fundraising period for a few weeks, during which the family support organization accepts donations from individuals and companies. This year, we donated HUF 200,000 to help children from distressed families to start school: our donation was used by the staff of the Family and Child Welfare Service for buying schoolbags and school kits for children in need.
“It is of great help to us that Hankook makes our work easier as a permanent sponsor before the beginning of each school year. With school supplies purchased with the money donated by the company, we can significantly reduce the families’ expenses, and the children are always happy to receive their school supplies,” said Ágnes Libor Mészárosné, head of the family support center.
Of course, the “Útkereső” Service can count on our support in the future as well!
