Our business ethics guidelines

Based on the Business Ethics Manual of Hankook Tire Hungary Ltd., our Business Ethics Code has been prepared and can be found in the Arena. If you have any questions or wish to make a report, please contact our company lawyer, Dr. Konrád Németh.

  • Do not manipulate documents or data, make sure that all information is accurately recorded and reported!
  • Our company respects and complies with all national and international laws, regulations, accounting standards and commercial practices.
  • All Hankook assets (tangible and intangible) are for business use only and should not be used for personal purposes.
  • Confidential company information should not be leaked or used even after termination of employment without permission or approval.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others and protect your own rights!
  • Strive to establish a relationship with our partner companies based on reciprocity and in good faith.
  • Ensure equal opportunities for all potential suppliers. Select partner companies on the basis of objective and fair evaluation criteria.
  • Customer satisfaction is the number one priority in all decisions and activities!
  • Adhere to and follow safety rules and regulations!
  • Respect the principles of market competition and commercial practices. Profiting by dishonest means is strictly forbidden!
  • Do not discriminate against others on the basis of nationality, race, gender, religion, etc.
  • Avoid social or cultural discrimination!
  • Maintain a common organisational culture based on mutual respect and communication.
  • All forms of gambling within the company are prohibited!
  • Let’s do our assigned tasks properly and not cause losses to the company, let’s not damage the company’s reputation!
  • Under no circumstances should company employees offer or accept money or gifts from partners. They must not claim or promise to do anything in return for benefits.

Ethical behaviour is not a matter of choice, it is an attitude of necessity!
