„If there is health, there is everything”, so goes the proverb. It was in this spirit that this year’s comprehensive health screening program was organized in Hungary, which included a full health assessment of our staff.
Despite the fact that we can call our staff “young” there was a big interest for the program organized between 22-24 September. It is not surprising as our colleagues were able to take part in 40 screenings free of charge in the spirit of prevention. Most of these could only have taken place privately, in clinics overloaded with work due to the coronavirus, after long waiting times.
Our staff participated in cardiologic, pulmonary, cardiovascular, and eye examinations, as well as full body analysis, in the mobile medical truck. In order to detect breast and prostate cancer, during the tumor marker test, the health workers used a drop of blood. For completeness, additional tests such as hair and scalp scans were also available.
More than 300 workers participated in the screenings, which took around half an hour per person, and thanks to their awareness, participants were able to get a clear picture of their current health status.
It is important to raise awareness of the importance of staying healthy, even among those who have not taken the opportunity. Pay attention to how your body is functioning and get any abnormalities or symptoms that may be a cause for concern checked. A long and quality life is based on early detection and treatment of diseases, so let’s work for it, be part of it!
