This year will not be lacking in shared experiences either: the Legal & Culture Unit team has prepared a variety of programs for us. Sports, outings, family events, and traditional community programs await our colleagues throughout the year. Let’s see what stops this year’s program train will “roll through”!
According to plans, by the time you read this, the Hankook House gym will have already opened its doors, and all employees (regardless of where they live!) will be able to use it after registering. As part of the “Exercise for your health” program, a personal trainer assists participants for eight hours a week, by appointment. The goal of the initiative is to enable everyone to support their own physical health safely and under proper professional supervision.
The Hankook Soccer Tournament will take place again on April 11, and we’re once again inviting teams with a competitive spirit to sign up! The stakes are high: the corporate championship title and the chance for the winning team to represent Hankook at the country’s largest small-field tournament, the Automotive Cup, on May 17, 2026.
In 2026, the popular corporate outing series will continue with a doubled number of participants: taking shift schedules into account, 400 employees will be able to discover the country’s most beautiful landscapes this year. This year’s destinations: Szekszárd and the Balaton Uplands (Tihany and Badacsonytomaj). The planned dates for the Tolna excursions are April 18 and May 9.
Again this summer, Hankook Camps are welcoming employees’ children with a variety of experience- and development-focused programs. For children aged 6–13, programs will run in the usual weekly sessions from June 29 to August 14. New this year, for the first time, camps will also be held for “mini explorers” aged 3–6 years during the first two weeks of August — timed to coincide with the kindergarten break — where kindergarten teachers and specialists will strive to enchant the little ones with educational and entertaining activities.
This year’s 5th Hankook Family Day will be a special occasion: we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hungarian plant and the company’s 85th anniversary together. In addition to the usual sports and family activities (bouncy castle, treasure hunt, foam party, dog and horse shows), a new attraction — a Danube river cruise — awaits the participants. Of course, the ever-popular cooking contest and sports competitions (soccer, basketball, tug-of-war) will also be part of the lineup this year.
Step Count Challenge
The popular step count program and team competition are back. In addition to individual prizes, the team with the most steps can win a team-building grant worth 500,000 HUF.
The year will conclude with the traditional Hankook Skating Event. The ice rink event will be held on four different dates so that as many employees and family members as possible can participate — and, of course, Santa Claus will also visit the rink to delight the children with surprises.
