Lucifer in the New World
The ever rebellious Lucifer grows tired of keeping order in hell at the behest of his father, since thousands of years earlier; so, he leaves his post and heads for Earth. And, where else would he go if not to the City of Angels? Women, drugs, alcohol, limitless parties. Los Angeles is the perfect place for the Devil in need of a little recreation.
Alongside him travels one of the demons from hell, the master of torture, Mazikeen. Immediately after their arrival in the New World, Lucifer has his angel wings clipped by his demonic servant and opens his own club, the Lux Bar. The devil is a man in his thirties with a British accent and his charm is irresistible, so he keeps changing his sexual partners. If his superhuman attractiveness and immortality weren’t enough of an advantage, he can also call upon other special powers when needed: Lucifer can convince any mortal to reveal his innermost desires with a single sentence. As is well known to fans of supernatural stories, Lucifer cannot lie. This is the essence of the story, as our protagonist never conceals for a moment that he is the King of Hell (which, of course, no one believes).
But following the demise of an old acquaintance, the narcissist Lucifer joins the LAPD team and, along with the beautiful detective Chloe Decker, plunges into the world of crime prevention. He soon finds the connection between his old life and his new one: tracking down and punishing the guilty. Of course, it’s not just his newfound job that keeps Lucifer on Earth longer than planned, but also the detective herself, who is exceptionally immune to all the abilities of the fallen angel.
The whole concept grabs the viewer from the very first moment.
