Thanks to your active participation, the February elections to represent you on the Works Council (WC) and theWork Safety Committee (WSC) from 2023 to 2028 were valid and successful.
There were 16 candidates for the 13-member Works Council and 5 for the 4-member Work Safety Committee, according to the Electoral Commission’s announcement. Let’s see the list!

According to the Hankook Election Committee, the number of ballot papers in the ballot boxes for the WC was 1464, of which valid: 1382; invalid: 82; for the WSC, the number of ballot papers in the ballot box was 1479, of which valid: 1398; invalid: 81.
In March, the formal constitutive meeting was held for both bodies, so the setting up of the WC and the WSC can be considered a success. Under the relevant provisions of the Labour Code, the candidates who, in the event of a successful election, obtain the highest number of valid votes cast, but at least 30 percent of them, are considered elected members of the WC or the WSC.
