You can apply for the 9th edition of the “Thanks, Hankook!” Employee Value Creation Volunteer Program until 16 April,
As in the previous years, now too, it is possible for such institutions and organizations that you, colleagues, are associated with, to avail support. Once again, a good number of applications have been received; therefore, even now you have demonstrated the helpful attitude of the volunteer groups that you have formed and how much you care for the fate of those around you, in your hearts. Once again, as always since 2013, Hankook is very happy to provide financial support for such causes that are important to you.
As in the previous years, a committee will judge the project plans received and the project leaders submitting the approved applications will be notified through the contact details provided. The winning applicants will have to complete their project until November 30, 2021.
In the last 8 years, 236 projects have been implemented thanks to you through the Employee Volunteer Program. In the course of these, 821 colleagues undertook a total of about 22,000 hours of work, in their free time, in order to build and beautify their own environment, whereas Hankook contributed to the purchase of raw materials and equipment, totaling approximately HUF 91.5 million. As one of the 37 projects selected last year, the Makk Marci crèche has become more homely, the community space of the Dunaújváros Voluntary Fire Brigade Association’s base has been renewed, as well as the lecture hall of the Sándor Petőfi Primary School in Dunaújváros has also been beautified.
We hope that this year’s program will end with the same success as in recent years and that many similar smiling photos will be added to “THANKS, Hankook!” photo album.
