Hankook tires in the FIA World Rally Championship

Our company has been a major player in international motorsport for decades, with our tires successfully competing in amateur, junior and professional events. 2025 is a special year in Hankook’s history, as from this season we are the exclusive supplier of competition tires for all three classes of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).

We are ready for every situation

WRC is one of the three most important motor sport championships in the world. What makes the series special is that it is contested in extreme weather and road conditions, and the tires used in the series have to be able to handle the most extreme situations. The 14 races are held on four continents and include snowy, slippery mountain roads, muddy terrain and sandy desert stretches. There is no question that there is no compromise in successfully completing all of these at speeds of up to 200 km/h.

Innovation from experience

Made with the most innovative technology and the result of a special development process, these racing tires are the perfect support for pilots, providing maximum durability, performance and safety for the drivers. Thanks to Hankook’s decades of motorsport experience, innovations have been incorporated to create tires that perfectly serve the rally racing world.

In World Rally Championship, five types of tires will be available for the drivers: the Ventus Z215 offers the best handling and grip on dry and wet roads, the Ventus Z210 is great in adverse weather conditions, the Dynapro R213 is a joker on gravel and crushed stone in all weathers, the Winter i*cept SR20 dominates snowy roads and the Winter i*Pike SR10W is the king of slippery icy sections thanks to its special riveting.

Sustainability is the future

Our partnership makes us one of the premium brands that sponsor two of the five major FIA world championships, as our tires have long been relied upon in Formula E, the electric vehicle race. This prominent role not only enhances our reputation, but also gives us the opportunity to actively shape the future of motorsport and to make the sustainable, environmentally friendly developments that are essential to us, widely known and recognised.
