Mediterranean bulgur-wheat salad
In the heat, everyone prefers light meals and this summer salad is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meat. It’s shape-friendly, fresh and packed with vitamins. Here’s the recipe.

Ingredients:
For the salad
- 1 cup bulgur
- 4 dl water
- 200 gram of cucumber
- 1 medium red bell paprika
- 1 medium red onion
- 240 gram of canned chickpeas
- 1 bunch of dill
- 1 bunch of parsley
- Salt, pepper to taste
For the Dressing
- 1 dl olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Half of a lemon juice
Preparation:
Put the bulgur in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. It will soak itself in 15 minutes. Cut the cucumber in half, scrape out the seeds and dice it. Chop the pepper, red onion, parsley and dill. Then mix the bulgur, diced vegetables, finely chopped herbs and drained chickpeas in a large bowl. To make the dressing, pour the olive oil into a small bowl, grate in the garlic and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Then pour it over the salad, mix, season with salt and pepper to taste and put it in the fridge for 1-2 hours to let the flavors meld!
Basil-Strawberry Lemonade
Hydration is important in the summer heat, and why not rethink the classic lemonade? This delicious, refreshing and slightly non-traditional refreshment is sure to be remembered by all and believe me, they’ll love the novelty!

Ingredients:
- 150 gm. strawberry
- 3 tbs. honey
- 2 big lemons
- 8-10 fresh basil leaves
- 2 liter water
- Ice
Prepare:
Blend half of the cleaned strawberries and basil leaves with honey. Squeeze in the juice of the lemons and add the water! Leave in the fridge for 1-2 hours to cool down! If the strawberry seeds and crushed basil leaves are bothering you, you can even strain it. Finally, add the remaining basil leaves and sliced strawberries! You can serve it with ice to keep the heat down.
Lemon Dream
A recipe that can be prepared within 30 minutes, without baking. Who does not need a recipe for a garden party? Plus, it’s so cool and delicious that anyone who tries it will be sure to demand this recipe from you, so don’t just make the cake, but also prepare the instructions for making it, for your guests!

Ingredients:
- 5 dl sour cream
- 12 tbs. sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 pcs of bio lemon
- 5 dl whipped cream
- 250 gm. sugar topped baby-biscuits
Prepare:
Mix the sour cream with the two types of sugar, add the juice and grated zest of two lemons. Whip the cream until foam is formed, then mix it into the sour cream mixture. Put a row of baby-biscuits at the bottom of a glass bowl; spread the cream on top and then add another layer of each! Decorate the top of the cake with lemon slices! To allow the baby-biscuit to soften, it’s a good idea to leave it in the fridge overnight.
