Before Christmas, most people’s hearts open up and we all feel the urge to give. Hankook is no exception, where the level of employee cooperation has exceeded all expectations.
Hankook has been supporting the Dunaújváros Útkereső Segítő Szolgálat, a local association helping those in need, for years, and this year was no different. At the end of last year, our company contributed HUF 200,000 to the work of the organization, which helps disadvantaged families, and the the family support service used the money to buy board games to make Christmas livelier for the needy.
Meanwhile, great initiatives were taken not only by Hankook, but also by its employees! Technology engineer László Tujner started a fundraising campaign for the orphans of the Deva St. Francis Foundation, to which our company donated HUF 500 000. The donations were sent to the foundation by the author of the idea himself.
Gábor Németh, who works at General Affairs, wanted to help sick children by encouraging his colleagues to collect chocolates. As a result of the initiative, more than 70 kg of quality chocolate was collected, which he was delighted to hand over to the clown doctors of the Karitáció Foundation, which launched the appeal.
