Race time – FFF Racing Team

When the champions of quality and strength meet –Hankook FFF Racing Team

We have great news for colleagues who are enthusiastic about motorsport: the FFF Racing Team is working with Hankook to conquer the 2021 NLS Championship.

The partnership between the multiple winner car team and Hankook promises a new, exciting venture for all players. One of the milestones of the collaboration was the unveiling of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO, equipped with high-performance Ventus race tires, with which the team will stand at the start lane between June 3 and 6 for the 49th ADAC TOTAL 24h Race, at the Nürburgring.

The iconic 24-hour marathon is one of the most significant events in the world of motorsport, taking place on an almost 26-kilometer racing track in the Eifel Mountains, combining the lines of the Nordschleife and Grand Prix. The track, also known as “Green Hell” –as one of the most challenging endurance races –will put both the drivers’, as well as the cars’ skills to the test, but we trust the team, and cheer them on for victory.

“The Nürburgring is home to Hankook. We have already completed countless test kilometers on this track and competed a lot here in all kinds of weather conditions; and, most of the tests for road tire improvements are also conducted here. In the races before the marathon race, we can perfect the joint work down to the smallest detail. The unparalleled collaboration between Hankook and the FFF Racing Team is also reflected in the car’s new paintwork, which combines the colors and symbols of Hankook and Lamborghini”, said Manfred SandbichlerHankook’s European Motorsports Director.

However, our current success is not unique,

as Hankook has been at the start of the classic 24-hour Nürburgring every year as a tire supplier for several car manufacturers since 2005. Also, thanks to the innovative development and premium quality of Ventus Race tires, we have become partners with more and more internationally recognized teams over the past decade.

Four fantastic drivers will race behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO: Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli have won several championship titles, both individually and as a team, Mirko Bortolotti stood already twice on the top of the podium, racing with this same car at the end of the 24 hours Daytona race, and the young Giacomo Altoè holds a championship title in the International GT Open.
