Ingredients:
Dough
- 25 dkg flour
- 20 dkg butter
- 1 dkg yeast
- Little milk and suger for the east
Filling
- 6 eggs (eggwhite and yolk separated)
- 20 dkg sugar
- 20 dkg ground nuts/poppy seeds/almonds
Preparation:
Knead the dough ingredients, divide into two parts. Leave it to rest until the filling is ready.
For the filling, beat the egg whites to a froth. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and the chopped walnuts (or poppy seeds, almonds) until frothy. Gently mix in the egg whites.
Stretch one of the dough balls into a rectangle and place on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Place the filling on top, then the other rolled out sheet, which you prick with a fork.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until the foam has set and the top has a little colour.
Serve sprinkled with vanilla icing sugar.
