Vaccination at work for employees

Since 13 May this year, the COVID-19 vaccine against the disease is now available, to all our staff members, at work.

In the company’s medical clinic, Sinopharm and Pfizer-Biontech vaccines can be administered.

By 10th of June, 149 colleagues had received their first dose of vaccine at Hankook’s vaccination point.

All employees who are already registered on www.vakcinainfo.gov.hu, have a social security card and are not known to have been infected with coronavirus in the previous 3 months can apply for the vaccination.

How to register?

ou can register for a vaccination by filling in a consent form with your administrator.

You have to come to the clinic at the time indicated, bringing with you this form, where you will be required to stay for 15 minutes under observation after the vaccination.

The company doctor will administer the vaccination and the vaccinated person will receive their vaccination certificate within 15 days.

Some information about the vaccines:

Sinopharm vaccine contains an inactivated, i.e. harmless, coronavirus that does not cause disease, but only introduces the virus to the body as information, so that the body starts to produce antibodies.

Two doses of the vaccine 28 days apart are required to achieve immunity.

If there is a chronic illness (e.g. high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.) that is being medically treated, the vaccine can be given, but the vaccinator will decide on a case-by-case basis.

The Pfizer-Biontech vaccine contains the messenger RNA of the virus, which triggers the body cells to produce a spike protein. As an effect, the organism produces antibodies against the virus.

Two doses of the vaccine 35 days apart are required for immunity to develop.
The vaccine can also be given to a person with a chronic illness.

People who have already had the disease and recovered from it, can also receive any of the vaccines.
Both vaccines are considered by World Health Organization (WHO) experts to be effective against the severe course of COVID-19.
