Who is who? – In the HR team

In the offices, numerous colleagues are working to ensure that the Hungarian factory can run smoothly in every respect. Many of them are people you may need to deal with; so, with our Who’s Who series, we want to help you find out who you can turn to with your various questions on a day-to-day basis. First, let’s find out what three of the female HR colleagues do!

Brigitta Vastag

Senior Payroll Clerk

Brigi joined the HR team in 2020 to strengthen the payroll department. Among her many tasks, we’ll now only list the ones that may directly concern you. At first glance, you’d never guess how many factors go into your monthly payroll; here is a non-exhaustive list: overtime, shift allowances, category bonuses and other reimbursements (e.g. travel), these all influence what ends up at your bank account at the beginning of the month. If something is not clear on your pay slip, Brigi will be sure to explain why – she’s happy to answer any relevant questions. You can also contact her if you need a certificate from your employer. She will prepare this for you in 1-2 days, except during the month-end closing period, when the process takes a little longer.

Zsuzsanna Kárászi-Tóth

Personnel Assistant

Zsuzsa has been a member of HR since 2006. Her work is very diverse, covering a wide range of administrative processes from writing employment contracts to personal data management. She not only prepares the contracts and job descriptions of new recruits, but also makes the necessary changes for promotions, or changes of positions. She keeps the database of employees up to date, which is a very important key to all HR processes. For this reason, it is of utmost importance that if you have any relevant changes, whether it is a new address, or a new education, you should report them to her. You should also contact Zsuzsa if you are confused about a problem you are facing. She will be able to help you, or direct you, to the relevant colleagues so that no question goes unanswered.

Viktória Horváth

Recruitment Assistant

Viki has been with us since 2018. Her main task is to find new colleagues for the White Collar and maintenance positions. She recruits and pre-screens candidates, receives CVs, liaises with managers and conducts interviews. In her words, she “holds the candidates’ hands from the first interview through the placement process”. In addition to recruitment, she also handles various official matters for Korean expats, from residence permits to the naturalization of driving licenses. What you can look for from her is a referral of potential employees. If you have a friend or family member who you think would be suitable for one of the open White Collar or even Blue Collar positions, you can submit the application form and the candidate’s CV to her. If you have any questions about the internal referral system, Viki will be able to help you.
