Our plant in Rácalmás has had a truly exciting year: new investments were launched, community and sporting events strengthened our team, and we can be proud of numerous professional successes. Let’s look back together at the best moments of this year!
1. Our colleague wins the 18th Proactive Award
14 years of hard work, from team member to the top: János Aux received the prestigious award in Korea as the leader of the high-performing MF3 Curing “C” shift.
2. Hankook in the WRC
From 2025, Hankook is the exclusive tire supplier for all three classes of the FIA World Rally Championship – 14 races across four continents, in extreme conditions.
3. Major change: Phase 4 has begun
As part of an additional investment of €540 million to be completed by 2027, construction has begun on thenew TBR production line, which will roll out approximately 800,000 truck and bus tires per year.
4. Hankook Enjoy Hungary – Szeged
Cathedral Square, the banks of the Tisza River, and wine tasting: the quality time we spent together not only enriched us with experiences, but also further strengthened our team spirit.
5. Football fever at the IX. Automotive Football Cup
We took part again in the prestigious corporate tournament, which was once again full of exciting matches and community spirit.
6. Hankook is 84 years old, the Rácalmás factory is 19
A joint celebration, a look back, awards and plans for the future at a colorful event.
7. Ambrózia Festival – 2025
Great programs, thousands of visitors, a “Poseidon’s Dream” theme, and free Hankook buses were the highlights of this year’s festival.
8. Donation to the Szent Pantaleon Hospital in Dunaújváros
Cots, toys, air conditioning, refrigerators – this year we provided 3 million forints in support for the development of the children’s ward.
9. Summer experiences for our children
Nearly 200 children of all ages took part in our children’s camps, which were organized for the third time this year. There was no shortage of fun and games!
10. Renewed catering and restaurants
With the addition of our new partner, Welstory Hungary, we havean even more varied selection in our canteens since the end of the summer, and the restaurants will also be renovated by the summer of 2026.
11. Little pirates in the classroom
We provided 72 young students with school starter packs worth HUF 2.3 million, and the Toy Festival transformed the courtyard of the Family Support Service into a pirate island for a day.
12. Hankook Family and Sports Day 2025
This year’s event took place at a new location, Ambrózia Park, with a full day of fun, with free bus services transporting participants and spectators to the sports competitions, foam party, and cooking competition.
13. XXI. Pumpkin Festival in Rácalmás
The three-day festival was once again supported by Hankook, with free admission for our employees, a strong musical lineup, and community programs.
14. Hankook Enjoy Hungary – Eger
A busy day with delicious food and wonderful wines in the picture-perfect Szépasszony Valley.
15. The ice rink is ours again!
This year, we were able to skate for free again, this time at the Angels’ rink.
