As you all know, we held our Health Screening Program in the 3rd quarter of this year...
„If there is health, there is everything”, so goes the proverb. It was in this spirit that this year’s comprehensive health screening program was organized in Hungary, which included a full health assessment of our staff.
Already, at this year's first copmany blood donation, organized in cooperation with the Hungarian Red Cross, we had a good turnout of almost a hundred people. A single donation can save the lives of up to three people, so Hankook employees contributed to the recovery of three hundred patients with this blood collection campaign.
Since 13 May this year, the COVID-19 vaccine against the disease is now available, to all our staff members, at work.
In the company’s medical clinic, Sinopharm and Pfizer-Biontech vaccines can be administered.
By 10th of June, 149 colleagues had received their first dose of vaccine at Hankook’s vaccination point.
All employees who are already registered on www.vakcinainfo.gov.hu, have a social security card and are not known to have been infected with coronavirus in the previous 3 months can apply for the vaccination
Preventing the spread of COVID-19
Probably many of you are unaware that the simultaneous spread of COVID-19 among workers has reached 20-25% in several multinational companies, which has also been reflected in production and sales results, all leading to wage cuts, or, ultimately, redundancies. In contrast, thanks to the effective measures, appropriate attitude and compliance of our colleagues, the proportion of infected people among our employees was a maximum of 0.5%, so the epidemic did not endanger the company’s operations or our livelihood at all.
