For our company, social responsibility has never been about meeting external expectations, but rather stems from our internal convictions – as evidenced by our charitable activities in recent years.
The 13th year of our charity program, ‘KÖSZ, Hankook! – Community Cooperation for a Better World’, has been launched, and many colleagues have joined us again. Thank you to everyone who applied and who cares about making our environment more beautiful and livable!
As in previous years, the 2024 year was full of charitable activities and support, and we even expanded our charitable activities.
In addition to our successful Tire Donation and Employee Volunteer Programs, our company has launched the “Hankook for Sport Program”. As a result, Hankook has supported volunteer programs with a total of HUF 20 million, and has contributed with around 2,000 premium tires to the successful operation of charitable organizations across the country, while smaller sports organizations in the region have received HUF 3 million to upgrade their equipment. There’s one thing our company never forgets: charity, and we find the right opportunity for it every season. We are proud to be able to support communities in and around Rácalmás, and all this thanks to the success we have achieved together in our world-renowned factory. In 2023, we have launched again several charitable projects. These not only strengthened the company’s ties with the surrounding communities, but also encouraged us to get involved in the community and be environmentally responsible. We have also supported safer traffic. We can promise one thing: we will continue!
Our company has announced again this year its successful tiredonation program. This time, we supported also larger local organizations such as the Fejér County Office of the National Ambulance Service and security forces in the Dunaújváros district. Some 200 tires were donated to various vehicles with sirens in November.
Our company is now considered one of the biggest charity ambassadors of Dunaújváros and Rácalmás, as our philosophy is that no season can pass without charitable activities.
